“Is my structured settlement annuity safe?” We have had that question asked of us a lot lately. Considering the problems that some large insurance companies have had lately, it is not an unfair question to ask. The very good news is that there have been no missed or defaulted payments on structured settlement annuities as a result of recent economic problems, and that the State Insurance regulators have been busy doing their jobs to insure that structured settlement recipients get their annuity payments.
